Q4: The Most Magical Time of the Year!
Q4 is truly the most magical time of the year as an Amazon Seller. Online shopping is at an all-time high due to the holiday season, leading to increased sales AND profit!
In this blog post, I’m going to be sharing some of my personal experiences, as well as how you can prepare to make the most out of Q4!
Story Time!
My first Q4 was in 2021 and I really had no idea what to expect. There’s so much hype around Q4 that I was worried it wouldn’t live up to my expectations, but boy was I wrong! 😅
I came across a very hot and in-demand toy that I sourced from Walmart in mid-December. I listed the item FBM while I was in the store and they immediately started selling. Long story short, I ended up selling 250+ units within 24 to 48 hours! My total sales value was $8,060 and my net profit was just under $2,000.
My second Q4 was even better! My sales and profits were at an all-time high. I made almost $19,000 in just 3 months! 🤯
I was already FBMing like crazy when I stumbled across a popular toy. I wasn’t even at the store to source - I was trying to get groceries! The sales rank was super low and there was little competition… what’s not to love?!
I ended up selling 320+ units within 1-2 weeks, making $1,400 in profit.
How to Prepare
If you’ve experienced Q4 before, then you kind of know what to expect at this point. However, if this is your first Q4, you may not really know where to start! Here’s my one piece of advice for you:
Enjoy Q4 and have fun. Use your first Q4 has a learning experience so you can know what to expect in the future. I’ve experienced two Q4’s at this point, and I refer to my second Q4 as my first because I felt like I finally had a grasp on what to expect. If that makes sense. 😅
Preparing for the holiday rush is key. You should stock up on supplies, do product research, and the list goes on!
