Life Update - Where the Heck Have I Been?!

I realize it’s been a really long time since I’ve published a blog, or YouTube video for that matter. I figured it was time for me to get back to it and give you all a little life update!

If you’ve been following my journey, then you know that my husband and I moved to a different state back in October 2023. If there’s one thing I know about moving, it’s that it really screws up my schedule. 😅 It seems like it takes me a hot minute to adjust, get used to the new area, and re-establish a routine.

I feel like I was finally doing just that when I was thrown a few curveballs, and this is when things get serious.

SPOILER ALERT: This part of the blog is kind of sad, but I promise it doesn’t stay that way!

I’ve contemplated sharing this part of my story on social media - it’s deeply personal and makes me feel extremely vulnerable. Both of which make me feel uncomfortable and no one likes that feeling! But it can also be a good thing.

Shortly after the move, I found out that I was pregnant only to miscarry about a week later. It was a whirlwind of emotions and definitely something that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Needless to say, my business (or blog) wasn’t my priority during this time.

I’ve always wanted to be transparent with my followers, so that’s what I’m trying to do! I don’t share this for sympathy and/or attention. However, I am sharing it because I know how lonely it can make you feel.

I realize I don’t have a huge following, but I wanted to use my platform to raise some awareness. Pregnancy loss is very taboo and not widely discussed. So, if you’re reading this and have experienced or are experiencing something similar, just know that you’re not alone. If you need to vent or talk to someone who understands, my DM’s are always open. 🖤

ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT: This is when the blog goes from sad to happy!

I’ll just get straight to the point here… I’m pregnant (again)! I’ve just entered my second trimester and couldn’t be more excited to welcome my new business partner into the world. AKA Baby Retail Rogue!🖤😂

It definitely feels like I’ve been on a crazy rollercoaster ride the past few months, but all’s well now though! I feel like I’m finally settled, motivated, and have my feet underneath me again. Aside from all the cold weather, snow, and fatigue, I have no complaints.

So long story short, that’s where I’ve been. I’m excited to be back and can’t wait to share more content with you all. Thanks for being here!
